The newest open-top Ferrari (that isn't the Ferrari 812 GTS) is almost set to make its premiere tomorrow. The open-top Ferrari 296 GTB twin has been teased for a while, most recently earlier this month, and this is likely the final teaser we'll get from the Maranello firm before an official appearance.

The video, which was shared on Ferrari's social media sites, has a flash of gauge clusters, wheels, and shadows set to dramatic music. In the background, we're very sure we hear Ferrari's new V6 engine. There's basically no chance it isn't, considering the teasers we've seen so far.

Slowing down the video (a useful feature on Twitter) reveals a few features regarding Ferrari's newest open-roof model. The new Ferrari's wheel is constructed of carbon fiber, which may be seen for a brief minute. A few frames later, the new Ferrari's rear deck reveals its mid-engine configuration and rear third design components, which we nearly exactly predicted when we created the render above.

The Roma's gear selector will be carried over to the production car, an homage to the gated manual Ferraris that we no longer see fresh from Maranello. We can also see that Ferrari's iconic manettino layout will be incorporated. This is followed by a lengthy, panning picture of the car's blue paint and bodywork. The camera is clearly pointed at the open-ended windscreen of a convertible near the conclusion.

Given that this is "simply" an open-top version of the original 296 engine, we may expect the same 819 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque. The electric motors from the 296 GTB will, of course, be present. As a consequence, performance statistics should be comparable to those of the hardtop vehicle.

The 296 GTB accelerates to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, but we're thinking that figure will start with a 3 by the time Ferrari unveils the production vehicle tomorrow at 2:00 PM CEST, due to increased weight from the convertible mechanism and structural upgrades.
