The Ford Mustang is currently the best-selling sports vehicle in the world, and for good reason: it's stylish, inexpensive, fun to drive, and provides excellent value for money. If you drive through any city in the United States, you'll almost certainly see a Ford Mustang in some state of tune. We've seen some stunningly customized Mustangs in our time, and retro-modified classic Mustangs are commanding absurdly high prices these days, but what about newer Mustangs?

People frequently believe that modifications don't add value to a car's resale value, but the 2019 Ford Mustang Revenge Edition illustrates that even recent modified Mustangs can keep their value.

This 2019 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible is unlike any other GT Convertible that you've ever seen. Peregrine Automotive, which specializes in highly customized, huge power Mustangs, has given the particular Stang a thorough makeover and has it listed on duPont Registry.

This two-tone beast is known as the "Revenge Edition," and it features a wild body package that includes a revised front bumper, carbon-fiber hood with large intakes, carbon fiber side skirts, a carbon rear diffuser with a wild exhaust setup, and a beautiful decklid spoiler. The Revenge Edition rides on a set of black 20-inch alloy wheels with 345/30 R20 Michelin tires, which are the widest street-legal tires available (according to the seller).

The car's bold outward appearance is matched by serious performance. Peregrine Automotive has installed a stage two Roush supercharger package to the stock 5.0-liter Ford V8. This Mustang now produces a massive 800 horsepower thanks to a bespoke exhaust arrangement and ECU tune. A modification like this typically costs over $150,000, not including the cost of the donor car, but this one with only 300 miles on the clock is going for $120,000. For that type of cash, you might be driving a brand new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with plenty of spare cash to spend on upgrades, or a Porsche 911. It's cool, but it's still a standard Mustang with some bling.
